Who We Are

Club Xcite was founded in 2004 by Stefan Hochfilzer to assist children and teens who have it harder than the average student and give them the personalized attention, encouragement, skills, and emotional support to succeed.

Getting homework done, reviewing concepts from school, exercising, and having the company of friends are all important to a student’s psyche. Students who experience challenges may have a harder time establishing and managing these responsibilities and our services can provide the structured and balanced approach to make after-school hours both productive and fun.

ClubXcite is a unique organization that seeks to serve children and adolescents in San Diego who sit outside the margins of a traditional classroom. Whether its students who are gifted, have learning differences, behavior and/or social struggles, and others, ClubXcite offers a fun, natural, non-clinical environment where kids can come to terms with their struggle, hone their skills and build confidence in themselves. Through both our one-on-one mentoring and our social programs, we offer a fusion of academic, athletic, and social mentoring designed to assist the whole individual.

All our services in San Diego have a common youthful approach, using the highest quality college aged mentors and coaches to engage and motivate students to reach their potential. Through our program students gain increased confidence in themselves and dramatic social, academic, behavioral and athletic changes take place in school and at home.
